SLS Block 1 and Orion are the national heavy-lift and crew stack for Artemis III.
SLS launches the crew in Orion from Launch Complex 39B at Kennedy into low Earth orbit, where Orion docks along the side of the Blue Moon test lander and then nose-to-nose with the SpaceX Starship test lander. Artemis III flies in 2027; the crewed lunar landings follow in 2028.
