Advanced Cooling Technologies flew a non-integrated hot-reservoir variable conductance heat pipe (hybrid wick, 3D-printed evaporator) as experimental hardware on Astrobotic Peregrine Mission One. ICES-2025-419 and NASA TFAWS 2025 name NASA Marshall and Astrobotic as co-authors: ground tests at ACT, pre-flight vacuum at MSFC, integration at Astrobotic, and a microgravity run in transit on 9 January 2024. Surface ops were not achieved after the lander anomaly. ACT also claims.
