Impulse lunar cargo lander
Impulse Space's planned lunar cargo lander rides the Helios kick stage from low Earth orbit (LEO) to low lunar orbit within one week, then separates, performs a braking burn and descends to the surface. Impulse estimates about 3 tons of cargo per mission and up to 6 tons a year across two missions starting in 2028, and has begun developing the lander's nitrous oxide and ethane engine.
